Tana promises Pranita medical treatment in US( 10 June, 2009)

HYDERABAD: Telugu Association of North America (TANA) offered to arrange treatment by experts in the US to Pranita, who sustained injuries in an acid attack in Warangal a few months ago.
Pranita, despite her injuries, appeared for BE (EEE) exams and got a distinction.

TANA president-elect Komati Jayaram and Prasad Garapati met Pranita and extended support to her.Addressing a press conference here today, Komati Jayaram said that they would provide medical assistance to her after receiving reports from the doctors, who treated Pranita. They said that there were over 10,000 doctors in the US who were members of TANA and assured to get medicare provided by experts in the US. After finalising an action plan related to Pranita’s treatment they would shift her to the US for treatment.

Jayaram said that they would take the responsibility of Pranita as a social responsibility.
Parents of Pranita thanked TANA for their gesture. They also thanked Chief Minister YS Rajasekhara Reddy for providing medical assistance to Pranita.

Meanwhile, TANA president said that 17th conference of TANA would held in Chicago for three days from July 2.Several cultural and business decisions would take place in the TANA conference.
Union Minister Vayalar Ravi, a delegation of Ministers from the State, former RBI governor YV Reddy and several others are scheduled to take part in the conference, he said.
